It does make sense. The amazons were meant to be the “Wonder Woman” warriors they were from their inception. Just without black hair and there not living on Themyscira.

People might try to spin it like you are racist if you want the original cast. I just want accuracy on the visuals. If they ever decided to remaster Diablo 3 for some odd reason in the distant future, I’d want the Wizard to be Asian. Something is just wrong with these characters beyond that though, they just don’t even look right.

As a side note, I will agree also the models are kinda underwhelming. With how everything in-game looks during beta, the models could have been done so much better. But like others said, it is a meh thing to me and no where near any way I would not play the game.

The Wizard in Diablo 3 is Asian. I do agree that the DII R models are off. Especially Amazon and Assassin. As someone stated before, I am not quite sure why Blizzard decided to make the Assassin Asian. Maybe it’s just the player Assassin and not the Assassin that shows up in Act III? What was her name? Natalya?
I know she’s Asian, I was meaning to say I wouldn’t want her to be changed into a different race. I’m not wanting the Assassin to be white because I want all characters to be White. I just want it to be how it originally was.
I wouldn’t even mind an option to switch between multiple models, like diablo 4. As long as the faithful original exists.

I do recall from Dash’s lore video’s that Natalya is the playable female demon hunter from Diablo III.
How can Natalya be the Demon Hunter in diablo 3 if that is after Diablo 2? I thought she was an assassin.

Yes. I think the assassin was supposed to be Russian or east European, just like Black Widow. Even the official art from samwise definitely isn’t asian. And Natalya doesn’t really sound chinese.
She was, but from what I remember, something convinces her to change from Assassin to Demon Hunter. I think it had something to do with the corruption of the Vijiarri not sure… if I am spelling that right.
New characters are perfectly fitting modern USA mainstream.
I feel like if the Barbarian aged considerably, then the Demon Hunter wouldn’t have been so young. She even had items named after her in diablo 2. I don’t know much about the lore though.
The new barbarian model? I think his face doesn’t exactly suit him, but it is decently accurate for me. I feel like every face is off though. Barbarian would be one of the few I’d say is fine.

Is it because everyone is happy playing characters their own age? It was fun playing a 20 year old Zon back when you were 20 and now that your 40, hey keep her at 40…
Well, with the barb from Diablo 3, Blizzard has stated themselves that the barb from Diablo 3 isn’t the same Barb from Diablo 2. I know that’s odd but it is what they have said. The stuff about Natalya being a Demon Hunter blew my mind. I don’t like much what Diablo III did to the story. Especially with the liberties it takes with the plot but, even I was surprised by that.
To explain her young appearance I think it is like a Claymore situation, I would believe that to get the shadow abilities they had to do something demonic in order to obtain those shadow step spells. Perhaps maybe it’s part of becoming a DH?
I’ve just never had time to admire the pixel buttocks of my character, or the desire to. If I want to see nice legs, then I just need to stand in front of a mirror… with my girlfriend 
I’ve always been focused on killing monsters and getting gear. Maybe if some of you would stop staring at the pixel booty you could react faster to loot drops and not have to whine about needing personal loot.
