What about Chaos Runs if you comparing loot/difficulty ? Is it interesting for you ? I know, there are nasty mages.
I read, that most peaople prefer runs like Pits, AT, Mephisto, Travincal, Pindle…
It depends on the ping. When the ping is low and teleport actually go in straight line instead of back and forth, left and right, I can seal pop a bunch of mobs withing 2 minutes.
Look like seal popping doesn’t apply my MF but it should in theory be good for HR farming.
got most of my HRs in Chaos and found my first Ik Chest and 2x occulus in Chaos and a soj and arach in river. Diablo also dropped an eth arach and eth dracu’sl gloves (rip)
If your character is strong enough and can clear under 4 min sure go ahead farm it.
It’s worth it for me, I have found some pretty good stuff in there. At least the mages don’t cast iron maiden anymore, so my merc can actually live. My merc can handle the cold immunes when I’m on my sorc, or I can kill them myself on my necro if I’m feeling like I don’t mind running with less MF on.
Worth it for pretty much everyone, not only Diablo has a good loot table but it is a great place to farm for high runes.
I am farming chaos a lot right now with my sorc, but i am not strong enough to clear it so fast. My run take around 5-10 min (it depends on monster density). I am not killing this for Diablo, because is dropping mostly trash. I am still waiting for some HR, but didn´t get it until this time.
Other than Diablo, this is just like any other lvl 85 zones so not much of a loss if you can’t clear it fast enough
you can skip the cold immune knight and focus on the storm casters, they have higher drop rate for HRs in Chaos.
Cold imune knight are not a big threat for me. I am killing them with firewall, it is quiet fast. But i am cold/fire sorc so i don´t have all in cold.
But still i am having more fun in chaos than is AT…AT are the most boring for me.
Also Baal run are quiet interesting, but baal drop is mostly poor. It is maybe better to clear all mosters in levels before baal. But difficulty is sometimes way more higher than in chaos runs. I also consider monster density here insane.
i know it’s luck but i just found tal rasha’s armor on a monster. that seems to be a coveted item. i think the nice thing about chaos is that it’s relatively quick and it’s very monster dense. if you’re tough enough then there’s an efficiency to it to massacre many monsters, quickly, which raise your odds. and there are a lot of unique monsters, too.
i run chaos on bowzon… havn’t found anything note worthy tho. can choose to do it in 2 minutes with no mf gear or 4-5minutes in mf gear. . . not sure what is better as both have givin me nothing as of yet
if your MF is high enough it doesn’t really matter, I have had better loot drops from just random non-elite mobs than bosses. Just run “the pit” in tamoe highlands, “ancient tunnels” in lost city, hell cow level and you will at least get either 1 set or unique piece.
Its totally worth it, found ber, cham, vex, 2x tal armor, 3 shakos and a lot of other usefull stuff there. I’ve leveled there from 88 to now 93 (players 1, only cs).
My runs are even not that fast, 4~5 Min cause i kill everything, could be way faster with only uniques and seal popping.
Best drops of past couple days came from chaos! Tals armor and hoz yeah boi! Hoz from D and tals from lord de seis minion

Tal armor is such a great drop. I love to see it on the ground.
I go in with my army of skeletons and make like Torgue from Borderlands and cause SPLOSIONS!
