Day and night transitions are not smooth. Like it gets light all of a sudden kind of immersion-breaking. I know this is not a bug yet must be fixed.

I actualy had there even the assassin issue with traps lowering number of boss packs already. I didnt realize
1: Iād leave the ebug alone as it adds just a tiny bit more itemization to the game.
2: I donāt know if itās a new bug, but I remember sometimes I need to unequip and equip my enigma because the teleport skill occasionally disappears until I do. The teleport skill even vanishes mid teleport.
Certain items also unequip themselves on entering new games, ending up in the inventory, seemingly for no reason.
You probably have that on this list I just didnāt want to read it all again

Another player killing problems
It is possible to use Waypoint instanty after hostility to another player. Also since missiless will not dissapear after player will use town portal, this is used for TPPK Hack. Change to this should help against hacks based on this mechanic. -
Anya Resistance Bug
After players characters death the resistances given by the Act5 questreward scroll disappears in effect but not at the shown value of character sheet, and only retruns when leaving the game.
The above were already fixed and Iām sure numerous others have been as well. Just read your patch.txt file inside your d2 folder.
Many of them are not bugs.
Many of them are tooltip errors that are already fixed in D2:Rā¦ hence the advanced stats tab.
- Another Oblivion knights issue
Oblivion Knights (located ANYWHERE) donāt cast the curse Lower Resist anymore.
^possibly not true, they may still in certain uber areas. Also, I did notice in the infernal pit, when the doom knights actually spawn, they occasionally cast one particular low aoe curse that does nothing.
I know, someone already informed me about that. I missed that in patch notes, i will edit it later.

I think there were using lower resist in past in chaos and they should. I didnt see it mentioned in patch notes. I know they removed Iron Maiden, they probably removed lower resist with it by mistake?
Also I would like to ask about one possible bug not listed. Is something wrong with lister the tormentor drop? It seems that he doesnt drop magic item on normal? Or was it always like that?

Many of them did, but because they are ānegativeā itās not that hard to grasp why players are less eager to keep them around (I hope).
If eth bug is so important and iconic, just buff eth armors and remove bug. Same with q drop bugs, improve drops and remove bugs. Problem solved, bug fixed.
Letās try this a final timeā¦ These are ācoolā because people with more āgame knowledgeā can turn them into an advantage for themselves. Eth bug especially so because it extends itemization routines through gambling with the cube. Removing them and jacking up default defense or drop rates is entirely lame. They should either remain as is or be fixed without increasing eth defense or drop rates. Guess which option most people would prefer. I think that these bugs should remain, and the team should focus on fixing bugs which actually disrupt rather than enhance gameplay (like broken skills, memory errors, crashes, incorrect tooltips, etc).
Another exploit I remembered: swapping the parameters of the identify item packet (ID scroll with target) can yield weird results on different things without actually consuming the ID scroll. It will consume a consumable, even in the stash or other buffer from any distance. With this, you could load your entire stash up with full rejuvination potions and have access to them from blood moore with one ID scroll on your belt which is never consumed :3.
Agree. A game this old has bugs, obviously. Pretty much every game from that era has bugs.
I can say with certainty that I would refund if they got rid of all the quirkiness in this game.
I am uncertain how I feel about mana burn and viper bugs. Getting rid of them may make the game feel too easy.
If it does, maybe they should leave vipers and mb as is, I dunno.
Droprate bug is fun and quirky.
Eth bug too.

Magic/Explosive Arrows/Bolts as items stats (Ravenclaw, Widowmaker etc.) seem to be bugged if equipped on a A1 merc.
For example the explosion of Explosive Arrows is shown, but doesnāt seem to apply damage properly.
Maybe because merc skill overwrite the skill bow use?
this is not a problemā¦ this is what makes hc exciting/thrilling. where you either trust people or youāre careful. i doubt any real hc player views this as a bug/problem.
this waypoint and tppk problem was fixed like 10 years ago. you cant use a waypoint for like 3 minutes after hostile and the tppk function no longer works. im not sure if the missle disappears instantly or if youre unable to enable pk instantly. one of them at least, if not both.
I might have missed this in your list, but I didnāt see the 8p partied char experience bug from Diablo in this list. Again, I could have missed it but didnāt see it.
If 8p are near Diablo and partied, you donāt get proper experience share, itās bugged. In classic anyways, I do solo CS in xp so Iām not sure there.

A good list of issues. If there are any future plans for the game after d2r releases then I would hope some of the fixes for these be implemented.
The scroll wheel doesnāt work for changing skills like itās supposed to.
Not really a bug, but can the game save the alt loot name toggle or /players command and apply it automatically to new games until its toggled off? The auto gold pickup does this so it seems like a bug to me.

pally skill āsacrificeā - the hit chance is way off. Compared to normal attack i miss a LOT more often. Really a LOT.
dont know whether this is a bug or working as intended, but hit chance should be MORE than normal attacks i thinkā¦
Fists of the Heavens is not working at all. 99 out of 100 times it only hits one mob. Sometimes it kills others but that is super, super rare and its with invisible bolts. Super disappointed to reach 30 and having the ability suck ***.
Not sure if someone posted already. I got this bug maybe 10 times already.
I canāt swap my weapons, neither click them and drop on ground or whateverā¦ I am stuck with current weapons.
Worse is, I dont know what is the triggerā¦ I play only barb for hint. All I know is i must re-enter game to fix it.
