Seems the general consensus that is pro-Auradin buff is that “it wasn’t P8 viable”, but the problems lies in the fact that they are basing this off kill speed. Holy Fire Auradins are very much so viable at P8 with the buffs, just not incredibly fast like Hammerdins, but they gain the addition of ease of use and lack of engagement, where EVERYTHING is taking damage just because you exist.
But what do I know? I’m a white knight according to a handful of people here.

correct… because there is a difference between being “op” and just walking around and having the entire screen die while not casting a single spell.

No it wasnt. And it clearly states in the notes it was nerfed because of late game concerns.
Dude come on diablo is a great game but bliz is a horrible company it took 20 years for them to realize amazon dodge skills were bugged and snakes on the way nihlathak needs to be fixed i am afraid it ll take another 5 years them to fix mana burn bug

So you’re complaint isn’t about damage or clear speeds, it’s, “wahhhh someone has to press less buttons then me.”
It’s a stupid argument, HF was not the fastest build, the highest damage build, or the least expensive build. It was just an easy playstyle build for P1 games.
It was completely fine and should have stayed the way it was.

I do agree on that part. Blizz tweaks auradin twice now. But the lobby, trading, botting, and tons of other game bugs and issues have remained untouched in 20 years. Good thing it is a great game or none of us would keep playing it.

The funny thing is, HF is still getting a buff compared to the game we have now.
It’s crazy how people are yelling after a meme build that they were not playing before and didn’t even know that they could have.
But as soon as Blizzard shows them the paradise for a week and then dials it back (while still having it buffed compared to original game) then all the pitchforks are in action.
