While the Berserker set is a very low level requirement set available before the Berserk skill is accessible that doesnt mean that it shouldn’t fit with the namesake of the set.
Life provides a survivability bonus as defense does, so why not provide life bonus instead of defense, which is a more logical stat to associate with Berserk.
Additionally, at high level this would provide a nice life bonus, thereby providing some functionality later in game: in particular the helmet and armor combination due to the flat attack rating bonus.

Add +20% Faster Run/Walk (2 Items)
Change +297 Defense (1 per Clvl) (2 Items Armor) to +297 Life (1 per Clvl)
Change 5-9 Poison Damage to 1-148 Magic Damage (+1.50 Per Clvl)
Change Full Set Bonus of +75 defense to cannot be frozen
Add +20% Deadly Strike (Full Set Bonus)
Add Full Set Bonus of Physical Damage Reduced by 50% (+0.5% per Clvl) (Very good bonus for high level berserker willing to utilize the very low damage axe )

Berserker’s is mediocre compared to other class-themed sets. Set could benefit from FRW, DS, and change poison damage to magic damage to be consistent with Berserk
