The only irreplaceable files of this game are any offline local character files, which can be found in the following directory:
C:\Users\username\Saved Games\Diablo II Resurrected\
“username” would be whatever your user directory name is.
If you keep that folder backed up, your local offline character files can be restored in the event of a system drive crash. You’d just need to redownload and install the game.
