Id be willing to bet money the avx patch drops within a few hours of New Worlds release.
But I will admit I am feeling a bit cynical right this moment, no idea why.

Yes it does support AVX
So I tried to launch the game with my laptop, it has Intel i3-7100U CPU (has AVX support) but the game doesn’t launch with it either. Exactly the same error than with my desktop computer that doesn’t have AVX support.
EDIT: Nvm, updated my laptops graphics drivers and the game works with it now. So remember to update GPU drivers if you have AVX support and the game doesn’t work.
I guess, i do, too ?

It works now! With the old i5 it works, not with the Phenom.
Thus, I suggest that it is in fact an AVX issue.

Thanks for keeping us in the loop. Can we keep the updates coming? At least every 6 hours, even if there’s nothing new to share. Just hearing from support would go along way for the community.

Yes, it is the same error everyone here has. They disabled the AVX support due to server stress
im not a pro but i cant imagine how company at this rank can have issues with servers etc etc

I’m going to diablo 2lod from 20 years ago with the 3dfx glide but it looks luxurious, it is not the same but at least I can play that we had to make a refund and everyone to play the classic with a mod like project diablo 2 xD
