Bought new computer, was able to play. There are lots of server issues ( unplayable). I am returning computer and requesting a refund. I will try again before the October ladder reset.

Like many others the I get an error when starting the game. It’s slightly more progress than previously since at least the “game” is starting up for a couple of seconds before crashing.

I had the same issue. I didn’t want to wait any more. Today I bougt proc: AMD FX6300 with motherboard socket am3+ , all used for 40$. Game start with no problem. My old proc and motherboard I will sell for the same money. That is way to resolve the problem. 1h work. Wish u the best guys, I’m going now to enjoy D2R for the first time.

Really? What blue posts in which forum? Why can’t Blizzard post news on the D2R page? There should be a central, big headlined notice on where to find the answers to why this touted game release has become a piece of fecal material.

nah i’m using windows 10. only thing that i’m not 100% sure about is the i7 860. and the mobility radeon 5800
cant believe Fetchers reply to an unsatisfied custmoer… "Hey bud. It’s already noted in the forums that the team tested a fix but it didn’t workout so they are testing alternative ones over the weekend. It’s not as easy as just reverting a beta change. We said we would have an update on Monday.
Refunds are available if you prefer."
Hurry up and apply the AVX patch.
If you don’t do it by Monday, I’ll give you a refund.
It makes no sense to never use the purchased product.

I was thinking before Beta to buy new components as my PC is around 13 years old, but TBH It performs very well, I was thinking to buy a new Ryzen5 or 7 as I want the best performance in single core and don’t want to spend too much, a new Motherboard and RAM, but then beta came out and I was able to play at 1440p 55-60 FPS with internal resolution scaled down to 85-90%, so, what the hell! I have pc for another 2 or 3 years!! and now this AVX thing… wtf! I won’t spend 500-700€ just for D2R to work, when I know my PC runs it perfectly.

I have read on Reddit that D2R was trending with 500k people watching streamers, now I’m more convinced that this was intentional to avoid overloaded servers this weekend and to leave streamers play to sell their product. I’m pretty sure that on monday we will magically recieve the fix.

can someone tell me, how i can refund? if they offer it… i can still buy the game again on Monday, IN CASE they actually fix the Problem… but if not, i got my Money back in time…

What the hell didn’t pass your quality checks? New patch that doesn’t fix this stupid problem? But frickin build of the game that won’t launch did pass the quality check? Guess You had to release something, without paying attention what it is. With problem like this You should do freakin overtime and getting additional teams on the problem. It’s not company with 8 ppl on board. That’s just pathetic, paid for product that doesn’t work and company doesn’t give a f about properly fixing it. So hard to launch reskinned 20y old game with stable build @ day one. Pathetic.

I was already convinced when they said that on Monday, it was already quite suspicious, besides, putting up with the first day was the worst thing with which they already lengthened the whole weekend and left free travel, I always knew that everything was a lie, it is quite frustrating and unfair , but well things happen for something, I no longer buy anything else in blizzard until the day I die, if I did I would be betraying my principles and that you can not allow it

Shh don’t tell anyone but I may or may not have picked up D2R on PS4 and plan to refund monday when AVX fix goes live.

I have a I7 920 Asus P6T with windows 10 with 980 gtx gpu with a 1T samsung ssd i dont understand how i can run a game like Destiny 2 but Diablo 2 remastered? NOPE. same issue as ya’ll, yesterday game wouldnt even launch, now it launches today but crashes immediately, progress i guess?

There was the same problem for CyberPunk, except that it was fixed… not 3 days later
