No. Vanilla WoW was the worst of them all. They had no idea how many people there would be. If you could get in, you could not move due to lag. The servers were crashing left and right. It was days before we could play and even then there were huge queues to get in.
They were scrambling to buy more servers to handle the load. Trial by fire. It was months before things even sort of settled. Despite that, there were days of down time, patches that broke things badly, etc. They did not get a sort of smooth launch until Wrath.

The fact that they havent updated us or given us any information on status or progress the last 20 hours is disrespecting itself.

This isn’t relevant, they’ve already stated that they didn’t have the original source code, so they had to cob it together. This isn’t the handy work of system designers of the late 90s. This is the handy work of current Blizzard. They are new servers, new code… You’re telling me they “just don’t know”? LMAO, what a joke. How could they have ever thought they could get it working to a point that wouldn’t be utterly broken? Either you’re not making sense, OR you’re absolutely correct and THEY are all idiots.
yes that mod was the best put together ARPG mod lately. There are just some interesting things in it, and it didn’t go perfectly for me. Or Project Diablo2 …
