I noticed that no mana and life is stolen at all once you have the fire fists as charges. Neither the stealing of mana or life through the items applied nor through Cobra Strike works.
I first played with Dragon’s Tail and thought that the knockback effect of the skill would somehow prevent it from working. Then I switched to Dragon Claw as a finisher and the same result.
Then I tried the whole thing with Thunder Claws and Ice Blades as a charge, each individually, without any other charges except for cobra strike and lo and behold it immediately stole mana and life.
So fire fists seem to be bugged here and you get 0 mana or life from life/mana steal, no matter from which source.
I tried the whole thing with 2x Mosaic Claws so as not to lose the charges and thus be able to observe it closely.
There is no bug there.
You can steal mana and life only in the charge up phase when you have any on youre equipment while you ad fire charges(fist of fire charges) to youre finishing move . The finisher move wont steal any life or mana when you use after this.
Thats because fire charge ups always convert youre finisher full elemental damage source, so no life/mana steal as the sorcess spells cant do either.
See on youtube when Mrllamasc or GingerGamingmentor explain this when you play with fire damage source martial assasin.
Well, maybe so, but it always works with all other charges. Why should you be at a disadvantage with the fire charge, it’s the weakest of all anyway.
When I use the other charges without the fire fists, I always draw life and HP from Corba Charge. Why the Fire Fists of all things have to play an extra (negative) role is beyond me and should be fixed. If only because this charge is really weak.
You can try playing Hell mode without life/manaleech as Melee. It just doesn’t really work, especially with enemies like Travincal the Council or other massively damaging mobs.
It can’t really stay that way and should at least convert some of the damage into life that you have as LL and ML, also the charge on corba strike should work to be able to survive.
I see that youre Mosaic sin, thats because not a problem for a real Pheonix sin.
Real Phoenix sin drop the fire charges immediatly after the first kick or slash and after that youre finisher can leech life and mana.
For Mosaic sin you need another skilltree, you leave fire fist only on one point and newer put on youre action bar.
The 19 points what you released , you can spend on the weaponblock, shadowwarrior/master,Cobra strike or even on Tiger fist.
Venom is not good because dont work with kicks, so useless after you charged up with Mosaic.
Mosaic sin and Phoenix sin is different because mosic cant lose the charges while she fight, thats why you newer use the fire fist charges.
Thats it pal.
