I’ve played 5 games on AOE4 - and not a single hitch. It’s worked exactly as advertised and appears to be as stable as it can be.

THIS is what you get from a reputable company. Blizz’ reputation is suffering across the board - in terms of game performance, as well as shenanigans in the background. D2R is a symptom of that rot…

Reputation doesn’t always equal great quality. Case in point Cyberpunk 2077 was a disaster at launch and the company was sitting on the top of the charts as far as reputation goes IIRC. Besides what is working fine for you personally might not be so fine for others.

Just looking on the game forums I can see some are having problems. Some are scratching their heads about how the game is programmed, link below.

I followed the link. If THAT is the biggest problem with AOE4 (e.g. games saved at higher graphics resolution can’t be loaded if the current game settings are lower at load time), then I’d say overall, it’s a pretty successful launch.

I mean, it’s not like you have to wait in line for hours and still not play the game, eh…?

Did you take a look at the rest of the threads there I bet you didn’t. Again just because a game is going fine for you doesn’t mean that it is fine for others.
