this is a nice experiment but in all likelihood it is not bound to go far !
bc there aren’t any bow skills dealing poison and ofc poison dmg does not stack !
there are uses for psn dmg however… for instance it stops life regen for most monsters

“Iceman” made a video on this on youtube.
He has a hero edited zon with 28 451 poison dmg small charms. He builds it obnoxiously with max dex lol. It looks like so much fun and appears to own.

I think I found the video, its about a “poison charm zon” ! it is impressive !
since I ‘ve been collecting my loot that is, during my last 3000 hours of playtime, these are my best poison charms
2 pestilent SC of something (dex, L, str, etc, not anthrax), 175 dmg each
6 toxic SC of something (same as above, not anthrax), 100 dmg each
11 pestilent LC (of something not significant), 175 dmg each
23 SC of anthrax or foul, 50 dmg each
all my charms amount to roughly 3.000 psn dmg
that’s how difficult it is to find ONE pestilent sc of anthrax !!!
I am pretty sure I cannot reach tens of thousands in my lifetime if I keep on playing casually !

they really dont perform much better than a simple inventory full of cheap Pestilent Large Charms.
what is important is having bow/helm full of 5/5 poison facets. spend your wealth on these before any charms.
ofc, you need all -pres you can get… I guess that the infamous economy can give you anything you need… but for us SPSF this is close to an impossible build… we have to work for every bit of wealth we can get

Not sure how many hours of playing I have, but been playing since shortly after launch, and had a habit of keeping any 100+ Psn damage small charms.
I have a 377, a 313, the rest of her inventory is about 60% 175psn/random mods and the rest are 100psn/random mods… of those I was able to get several with 3% FRW…
She’s got a 70%psn sunder, a Tiara with +2 skills and 2 facets, Bramble, Mara’s, RavenFrost, SoJ SilkWeaves, RazorTail and Trang’s gloves… and I stole a Faith Bow of an Act 1 Merc (Bramble I stole off an Act 5 Merc)

She is half way through Clvl89 and doing well… guessing 95%+ of my play is solo solo.

just days ago I reached 99 with my MF glass cannon… also have a screenshot of this somewhere… I use WF (+ed/ias jewel), shako, rare dual leech rings, chances, gheeds and the like…. tried Faith but seemed suboptimal for my playstyle even with KB gloves… also tried faith merc, no point in that since you only get +800dmg minus the tanking… also tried a concentration merc… this is strong and allows you to reach over 10K dmg, easily… note that I am not optimizing for dmg, I am optimizing for MF… just imagine that my belt is not raizortail, it is an upgraded goldwrap… : ))))…. yet this is a very strong char… but I am not too sure about the next step… currently I am killing bosses relatively easily for a bowazon and also did dclone yesterday… can she do the ubers, I wonder ? resistances are the most important and also well known problem
also started playing early in the 00’s… after 2009 started running the game in linux… after a while I was using lutris, which keeps the playing time ! unfortunately (but naturally) it resets with every installation or clean system upgrade… I kept a screenshot of my previous installation, before I upgraded to the latest version… have to dig it out and post it… I am running the game from steam lately and unfortunately it does not keep they time I play
so nice to find another SP bowazon here !

I only have 1 friend left in D2R, and our schedules rarely align, I think we lend gear to one another (making characters for play-through) more than anything else :).
All other friends went Poe or whatever it’s called.
I also have a Frost Maiden (clvl89)… She is my favorite.
Have yet to build a physical bow-a, but, that is next on my list.
Then I have the best Bow-a of all time… Enchant Sorc with a Kuko :).
there is no archer without a valk ! unless ofc the Peace runeword was fixed to be playable, which it hasn’t…

Haha, ya, I was being a Turkey, I actually enjoy both Bowazons over the Enchant Sorc…
Also Have a Javazon, and she’s so powerful it’s almost boring… enjoy both Bowazons over her as well.
You’ve really made me want to build a Physical build! I’m off to reseach to see if I have the gear on other character to steal/borrow to do so.
