But its git gud basicly. You can die to PK only by doing mistake and by not thinking about your actions.
That’s definitely not a good argument. PKs tend to prey on lack of information of other players, or to try to bait them into those mistakes. And for the rest, the appearance of PKs is just a frustrating moment to deal with, even if they don’t get caught by them.
It’s basically just a toxic environment to be in, just for the enjoyment of a few bullies.
pk use to be a part of the game very very fun back them 1,09 and before , sadly pk with enigma is very bad . to stuck low level public game and trolling
PK is usually only fun for the person doing the PK-ing. ![]()
Predator and Prey Relationships ![]()
sometime is fun to play the Prey and kill the Predator ![]()
The premise of predator versus unwary prey is extremely unhealthy. There may be design space for good predator vs prey gameplay in certain games, but certainly not on that unwary aspect.
Also, you are acting as if these encounters are somewhat balanced, which is hardly ever the case. PKs will come with an over-optimized character that cannot realistically lose against the level of “prey” they are attacking. You may have fun because you happen to be that one player with a character capable of fighting back, but that’s almost never the case.
I bet you have never played Diablo 1 on Battle.net haha. The PK was real!
back from the depths…
Last night was helping some folks do normal Chaos runs… lvl15 - lvl33.
A lvl93 dream (maybe dual dream) Pally shows up and kills most… Host of game announces next game, I go grab my lvl95 zeal/fanta/smiter and join game…
Mr. Griefer leaves immediately… coincidence?
LOL.
I was just reading some justifications for PK’ing/Griefing, and for some reason, their arguments reminded me of NAMBLA. “why are you impinging on my freedom to take advantage of unsuspecting less-developed individuals?”
Regardless of the feelings on he issue, that’s funny, right there.
Sometimes in split MF games there’ll be someone join and deliberately go to an area someone else is in, grabbing loot as they’re still killing mobs and running to the TC while you’re still clearing the area. The only (most fun?) option is to hostile them and to throw hands until one of you dies.
If pvp can be disabled on game creation there are going to be a lot more instances of players MFbombing others as the risk of the original players going hostile has been eliminated. That doesn’t sound like a lot of fun to me.
Griefers are not interested in actual PvP but simply jerks when they know that their own character is at risk.
i suggested this last season and the trolls went bonkers
No because the most fun in this game is when a pker joins to hostile everyone then the tables turn and he gets wrecked. Then you nk him over and over until he leaves.
The last part doesnt happen in hardcore but the point still stands.
If you are in game take screenshots with names, post them on sites. use a little imagination, remember what youre doing is legal.
