My Diablo II: Resurrected account was recently successfully unbanned after an appeal (Related Ticket ID: #109705301). Support has confirmed via email that there are absolutely no restrictions left on my account.
y unable to play. When I launch the game, my character list is completely empty, and when I try to click “Online”, I receive a “Cannot Connect to Server”
To prove this is a backend server sync issue and NOT a local network problem, I have done the following cross-tests:
-
I reset my password to refresh my account token, but the connection error persists.
-
I logged into a DIFFERENT Blizzard account using my exact same PC and network. That account connected perfectly and could play without any issues.
-
I asked a friend in South Korea to log into my unbanned account from his PC and network. He got the exact same “Cannot Connect to Server” error.
-
I launch the game via Steam. My linked Steam account is in good standing with zero restrictions or VAC bans.
Server Region: Asia (but affects the account globally)
It seems my account’s unban status has not properly synced with the live game servers, leaving my characters locked in a ghost state.
