For characters going missing there are 3 scenarios. It was an accidental deletion. The X of death is getting changed to prevent this mistake from happening. It’s pretty common and sometimes you don’t even realize it till it’s too late. Server hiccup. In these cases it may disappear for a bit and then comes back.
