Thats cool everybody knows Sigons is the best for a starting Barb - but if you do start a Season Barb from level 1 with no hop up Stealth armor and one of them Helms is goona be the coolest - than I usually go for Smoke Armor until I get cooler drops. In the Marines I automatically got Carbon plate chest armor, leather gloves, and a jarhead helm, with leather boots but in Marine Combat I relied on my Mom who would do forward rushes and than hit Enemy Sandlands foe with a wood spoon. I guess no new rune word weapons or wood spoons though.

Virtually nothing in the shapeshifting tree synergies between Bear and Wolf besides Lycanthropy.
Forcing into the form that you didnât invest into to get a temporary buff is real innovation. Nothing screams shapeshifting viability as the ability to shift between Werebear and Werewolf every 3 minutes to maintain a buffâŚ
Yeah but the flip side to that is instead of 2 different rune words, for each different build you get 1 that works for both.
I like the effort put into creating a brand new mechanic (chance not to expend charges). At the very least itâs interesting as a new tool available for single player mods.
Hopefully theyâre addressing Next Hit Delay and skills not working correctly with +/-% elemental damage though. Otherwise martial arts still have major issues.
Looks like a promising runeword. Better than a lot of the crap runewords that were newly released and MUCH better than most of the current itemization. I am told, repeatedly, that charge up skills donât last long enough, so maybe Blizzard might have extended the time charge up skills last. I hope they did, but I have learned to temper my expectations with Blizzard, even with something as simple as doubling a charge duration from whatever seconds to whatever.
I think the criticism leveled above is a fair one; new items are good, but the old ones need some shining up too. I THINK this is the last major shakeup patch we have scheduled for D2R, so if not now, itâll never happen.
I don't think the current changes make the game "fresh" enough, for me, to be excited to try a new season. It's still the very same game for twenty years, but hey, at least the MA and Fury Druid population get some loving.

Iâm really curious if they fixed the Amazon strafe attack rating bug. They have acknowledged the issue, just waiting on them to fix it. Because I want to make a piercing strafe Bowazon go pewpewpewpewpew⌠pewpewpewpewpewpewpew! And actually hit things without being required to have ITD, which of course doesnât work with all enemies.

Personality, my big hope is they fix -elemental resistances on merc runewords to work with your character, and to fix traps not benefiting from +% elemental damage. I assume they must have fixed traps not benefiting from Sunder.

The helm cycle is OP in terms of efficiency based on what you get. You basically can make multiples of these things for how little they cost, and theyâre like a single res kiras. This helm = make the runeword, forget about your helm slot(starting at level 35âŚ) until you have shako in hardcore or softcore with the exception of the other resist variants because its so efficient to make. It completely devalues the rest of the loot pool from 31-end game for helmets. Its too strong, and should be nerfed to 45 res max and 5-8% sorb at minimum and even then it still might be too efficient. Way too good for shael io/X and is like spirit/insight in the sense that theyâre clearly the best items at their level, and makes you forget about picking anything else up in this level.
No need to gamble circlets early in ladder when this exists really. Should consider making it require a Ko/Fal/Lem or something to raise the level req. its too good for what it costs and its level range and there is no real need to consider anything else because of how cheap it is for the stats it provides.
This game is better when you have to make choices, rather than when you can autopilot your way through the game.
Metamorphosis might be too strong/next Best it slot for certain builds, and definitely something that might bust a meta or two. this is something that probably needs to be actively tested.
Mosaic seems like a waste of the runes and isnât enough to fix how bad the martial arts tree currently performs. If youâre wasting your time making a martial arts sin at this level, just save the runes and just use a bartucsâŚ
I think some of these runewords would be cool if there was a solo self-found ladder.
May as well just delete sets, rares and uniques from the game at this point - they only want us to use runewords it seems

Waste of dev time imho, should have buffed base damage of weapons and tackled tier 87 items.
Patch 1.10 shows again why it sucks.
