according to blizz’s own information, from the closure of PTR (March 9) it would take 2 weeks until the release of 2.4.
That brings us to the week of the 20th.
I personally bet on Thursday.
then, with great luck and if there are no bugs, a week later the ladder will come out… if there are, we will have to wait 2.

I think that for 2.4 yes, but that the ladder is going to go away in 2 weeks even if everything goes smoothly.
Well, April the 1st seems reasonable, but then that is April Fools day.
I wont play until ladder launch, i really am looking forward to it. Its been soooooo long, i can wait a little longer.
I am too. I don’t even care about 2.4, I’m just excited about resetting the economy, starting over with other players and trying out the new rune words.

I’m thinking Tuesday March 29th for 2.4 release, then perhaps Ladder two weeks later like April 12 or so.
In my opinion, patch 2.4 should have already been released.
The whole three different PTRs (server in January, class balance in February, and ladder in March) took too long to complete.
I know the D2R team wants to make sure they get everything right but maybe they should hire more people to do in-house testing than relying on us volunteer to do the work for them.
Also, the decision to combine patch 2.4 (class balances, merc, area level 85 update and so forth) with ladder was not the smartest choice.
If they had released 2.4 back in mid-February, they can let it run for 2 months instead of one of two weeks like the current plan. It would have had a lot more people participate in it and for a longer time farm. Any game-breaking bugs or whatnot can be fixed in a timely fashion before ladder.
However, now everything just feels so rushed with 2.4 dropping and ladder happening so soon after. It is so unfortunate.
