Thanks for adding new content to D2R. So far I am thoroughly enjoying it. Since there is hope that development will continue, I would like to request a feature that, I believe, would be a massive boon for D2R on console: 2-player couch co-op.
Couch co-op was the main reason my wife and I played so much D3 and it is in our mind the best feature of D4, even if that game never was the right fit for us. However, we ultimately still consider D2 the best fit for us - except we can’t play together.
Given the slower pace of D2 and it already working for small group multiplayer, it should be ideal. 16:9 TVs should allow for a side-by-side interface or, if not, give the overall pacing, waiting for the other wouldn’t be a big deal anyway.
Thanks for reading (I hope) and I can say that for my part, a 2-player couch co-op-op patch would be such a huge benefit that I’d even buy it if it didn’t contain any other content.
