My son is diabetic and we always carry emergency candy and whatnot. This has caused problems with the “no outside food” policy in the past at other conventions. Please make sure your security staff knows that snacks for diabetics are not outside food, but necessary to avoid dangerous medical situations

This has me really annoyed! 
I’m travelling from Ireland and I can’t understand why a decent camera would be banned, especially a GoPro for that matter as phones are no different. If people are taking videos with their phones I don’t see the difference? (Apart from a decent camera would make it look better.)
I’m so confused. I blog all my adventures but I’m not an ‘influencer’ so I can’t have a camera to do this but everyone can use a phone?
Surely this makes no sense in this day and age though with phones. Or are phones banned and I missed that? That would be really bad for people trying to stay in touch!
Did you get any clarification on this? I find it really weird and all that I have is a mirrorless to take photo and video with.
