This happens 90% of the time on Destruction’s End. What basically happens is when you are playing in groups, all of a sudden the controller just stops taking movement stick inputs. This usually occurs when you are playing in groups at the entry point and/or right after you defeat Baal for the first time. In either case, this occurs when you are near the cliff jump points.
The workaround is you use the on screen UI/stick to navigate off the jump points. After you complete the jumps, control returns.
