World of Warcraft API Patch Notes - 2020/03/03

Hey y’all,

We have a set of bug fixes going out this week for the World of Warcraft Game Data and Profile APIs. These patch notes are for the World of Warcraft API; they do not describe the World of Warcraft Classic API.

Game Data API

Journal

  • Fixed a number of issues with incorrect raid and difficulty mode data across the Journal Instance, Journal Encounter, and Journal Expansion endpoints.

Media

  • Added an id field to all Media endpoints (/data/wow/media/**/{id}).
  • Filled out the id field for many structures that link to Media endpoints throughout the API.

Profile API

Character Achievement Statistics

  • Removed the “Wealth” subcategory.
  • Fixed a bug in which some statistics had an incorrect quantity.
  • Fixed a bug in which some name or description fields were incorrect.

Character Collections

  • Fixed a bug in which characters on an account with too many characters would not update properly.

Account Collections

  • Fixed a bug in which accounts with too many characters would not update properly.

User WoW Account

  • Added the following fields for characters returned from the User WoW Account endpoint: playable_race, playable_class, gender, faction, and level.
  • Fixed a bug in which accounts with too many characters would not update properly.
