Warcraft 1 remastered stuck at loading screen

WC2 updated and now works

Holy crap if You go to preferences and change the UI Scale to fixed…its beautiful.

It works for me now… (War1)

Warcraft II is still not working for me. I downloaded the patch and managed to launch the game, but after level loading, whether I’m playing as the Alliance or the Horde—the game just freezes and doesn’t respond to any input. I don’t see any animations; only the music plays, so it seems like the game is stuck on the first frame.
Does anyone have this problem?

This is the case for me as well.

I haven’t even been able to launch. Both games crash immediately upon launching, and then it asks me to send a crash report to Blizzard.

Warcraft 1 and 2 remastered both crash for me after a black screen.

Scan and repair didn’t work.

Here’s my errors from the error dump:

Windows
ACCESS_VIOLATION
DBG-OPTIONS<FunctionsOnly>
DBG-ADDR<00000000>("")
DBG-ADDR<00560BC6>("Warcraft.exe")
DBG-ADDR<005CA8B5>("Warcraft.exe")

DBG-ADDR<005AA4B5>("Warcraft.exe")
DBG-ADDR<006F1918>("Warcraft.exe")

Exception dump file says this is the error:
The thread tried to read from or write to a virtual address for which it does not have the appropriate access.

Which comes from this process (the actual executable)
C:\Program Files (x86)\Warcraft I Remastered\x86\Warcraft.exe

Running as administrator does not work.

Update:

A new update was just released and this gets me further, but it looks like there is a hard requirement to OpenGL 4.6 which won’t run on older machines.

No retro gamming this retro game, friends.

Don’t worry boys, I was able to sack Stormwind tonight. FOR THE HORD!
