Unable to access Battle.net with Japan "AU" internet provider

This issue look similar to the one from Comcast or the Malaysian Telekom provider.
I can’t connect to battle.net with Japan AU internet provider.
I’ve tried with :
Home lightning AU internet → can’t connect
Mobile AU internet as hotspot → can’t connect
Mobile Y mobile internet as hotspot → works perfectly.

All my other internet apps (steam, discord, internet streaming etc) works normaly.

I’m not sure if you have range of action in Japan.
I will also contact directly the internet provider.

I am also in Japan and have been trying to connect to EU servers for two days now with no success.
I am able to connect to other regions just not EU.
I’ve tried all the suggested methods from here and other forums but still nothing.
My ISP is Jupiter Telecommunication Co. Ltd. Do you think it may be an ISP connection issue to EU servers?
I hope this gets fixed soon.

Thanks for your report, everyone! This is similar to the behavior we’re seeing with Malaysia. Our team is aware of the issue and working on a resolution as quickly as possible. I’ll continue to update on this thread and the WoW thread linked there as we have more information available.

I’m also in Japan and having this issue with AU/UQ.

A couple of differences though:

1 - I’m unable to connect to EU battlenet, rather than NA. This includes forums as well as the app itself.
2 - I’m able to connect to EU forums through my cell phone, which is strangely through the same provider as my home internet. However, when I try to tether my phone to the PC it still wont connect with battlenet. Any ideas why that might be?
3 - Getting a different error code on the battlenet app than OP: BLZBNTBNA000003E8

Also from Japan.
Having issues with Asahi.net (NTT) since yesterday (Tuesday), did not have problem on Monday.

1 - I’m unable to conenct to EU battlenet (Win10 Application), but can connect to the forums through a browser.
2 - Tried TunnelBear VPN, impossible to connect to any game server but battle.net was somehow working. (Connected, but no update, no info displayed.)
3 - Tried ProtonVPN. Seems to work this morning. May be an acceptable temporary solution. The free offer only last 7 days, so I hope it will be fixed before.

My error code is the same as everyone else here.

I have problems with Battle net europe since yesterday.
I can’t log in on europe servers but I can on america and asia.
Error Code: BLZBNTBNA00000A8D

Also in Japan and having trouble accessing EU using JCOM service provider.

Also having AU as internet provider, problem connecting (to EU server) since yesterday as well (both the App and WoW Classsic)

Also in Japan, and weirdly the routing seems to be okay as the traceroute result is the same on networks where Battle net works and where it also does not. My laptop cannot connect to Battle net and my Playstation 4 cannot connect to Overwatch.

Could it be that our IP addresses are in a range that Blizzard blocked due to the recent DDoS they experienced?

When I connect via VPN in a different country it connects fine.

same situation with the same error message EU region (Istanbul) I assume a ton of false positives are among the blocked IPs, it’s been this way for 2 days

I have to use VPN to log in to the website to post on forums, not even the web page loads

This seems to be resolved now. At least for me, anybody else?

I’m glad I wasn’t the only one facing issues in Japan!
Mine was not a “can’t access” issue but an increased latency one with Classic wow - Oceanic server Arugal.

My ISP is JCOM. Normally I would have 150 ms, but starting from Monday I’m constantly getting 350+. Also on Wednesday evening I got dc’d once and rubberbanded 5-6 times, experienced a delay of 1~ second for about 30 minutes at one time.

Seems to be resolved for me too. Played this morning with no issues for a few hours.
