Character stuck at 799

No, it’s not. Yes, and once you’ve unlocked Paragon 800, you can stay in Hell VIII if you want. To unlock Paragon 800+ you need to reach 799 and then kill Phangwrth at Hell VIII. Once you’ve done that, you don’t have to play in Inferno, you can still play at Hell VIII if you want.

Report level got stuck

As soon as your hero reached paragon 799 the game would have directed you to look at your inventory screen and to click on your XP bar. I cant get past lvl 799

After your 799 XP bar is filled, and you’ve killed Phangwrth on Hell 8, you go back into your hero’s Inventory screen, click on the XP bar, and it’ll show you’ve satisfied the criteria to go to Inferno. When you click the button to do so, there’s a short tutorial telling you about the differences between Inferno and Hell and asking you if you’re sure you want to go ahead. The game absolutely did say something about this. When the hero reaches paragon 799 the game directs the player to access their hero’s inventory screen and to click on their XP bar, which will show them the two criteria needed to advance to Inferno, i.e. reach paragon 799 and kill Phangwrth on Hell 8.

Paragon stuck at 799?

The xp counter stopped at the end of the level

When you reach the end of paragon 799, the player is directed to enter their character sheet and to click on the XP bar there. When they do so, the second criteria for unlocking access to Inferno (and paragon 800+) is shown, i.e. you need to kill Phangwrth (Helliquary raid boss) on Hell 8. Cant Level up Paragon level

When you reach paragon 799 and max out your XP bar you are directed to your hero’s inventory screen and to click on their XP bar which shows there are two criteria for unlocking access to Inferno… Reach paragon 799 Kill Phangwrth on Hell 8 Once you’ve done both of those, the XP dialog in your hero’s inventory screen gives the option to change over to Inferno (with explanation of the differences). This is not a bug.

My score got stuck

When you reach paragon level 799 and the bar completely fills up, you are directed to your hero’s inventory screen to click on the XP bar (top left) which will show you that you’ve fulfilled 1 of 2 criteria to unlock Inferno difficulty. That dialog advises you that the 1st criterion is to reach paragon 799 and the 2nd criterion is to kill Hell 8 Phangwrth (Helliquary raid boss). So, go kill H8 Phangwrth. This is not a bug.

…all of which tell you that you will need to kill Hell 8 Phangwrth to progress to Inferno.
