My clan leader got maliciously mass reported through “name violation” and we tried everything. From official tickets to posting on X and Reddit.
Mind you, her name does not mean anything crude in any language (dead or alive, real or fiction)
Blizzard does not seem to care or do a proper investigation, allowing a player to get suspended from malicious mass reporting.
Every report resulted in bot replies or “thank you for reaching out”
Which game?
If it is WoW then a GM did agree the name was not appropriate for the game. A suspension means it is not the first name violation on the license.
Just because something is funny, clever, or edgy does not make it appropriate for the game. “Not crude” may still not be appropriate, esp if it is on an RP server.
If this is WoW and you want clarification on Policy, the Customer Support forum is an Information Desk to help people navigate the Support/ticket system, explain policies, explain account services, etc. They are the same folks who handle the BlizzardCS Twitter/X. It is NOT a means to reach GMs or appeal, but they can help explain the policy to you and verify the penalty was valid.
So basically: this will not be reviewed, the integrity of reports will not be checked, and OP is up the creek without a paddle.
