So I got an update on my phone that authenticator is now in the battle.net app. When I opened the battle.net app it requested my authenticator which notified me at the top of my phone. I press the notification and it takes me back to the login for battle.net.
Luckily I have authenticator on an old device that isn’t updated or else I would not be able to log into anything right now.
There is another issue I found when trying to set mine up. It’s connecting and sharing data with TikTok. Why in the world is Blizzard sharing information with TikTok? Many people block TikTok related items so having this included in there may mean loss of authenticator. Blizzard really needs to remove TikTok affiliation with this app.
I would never share my information with TikTok.
