As I was going to enable it on my account, and instead of a 16 digit long string of letters to enter into my authenticator app, I got given a prompt for a serial number and an authentication code? My authenticator app does not have any of these

Welcome to the Blizzard forums where people can give feedback on the Blizzard Authenticator. If you have an issue with an Acitivision product you need to utilize Acitivision’s website and support.
This thread was from 2019… It is customary to make your own thread if you have an issue and there are no recent threads similar to it.
For actual issues with an account that is handled in private with CS through the Support link > Contact support at the top right of the website.
