I really like the friends list in the main window, as I thought the pop out friends list was annoying, as the button to pop it out was poorly designed and it blended in depending on the game that was selected.
I also want to say that it (the pop out friends list) is probably residing somewhere in the Shadowlands now, most likely in Ardenweald, to await a decision from Blizzard as to if it will be granted a return to the Launcher in the future.
I do the same, I detach and keep on another monitor. Idk why this isnât an option anymore. Need to add it back.
Main and discussions Windows do not save their size and position !

Oh no itâs detroyed. i just update battle net, now the friendlist is not a standalone anymore, i m writing becouse all my clans and friends in discord seems to have the same problem. We need the seperate friendlist back, please 
Why u not make a survey for such a hard usablity crap. No one in my clan can understand such a decision!!! Standalone friendlist please!!! Make a survey and find out that 95% need it like it was.
This feels like another âmilk the cow to deathâ As Activision would like to force us seeing their advertisments, as soon as we want to see our friends list.

I like to have Steam + Bnet friendlists and Discord on the second monitor. Now there is not enough space anymore
I create a support ticket now, my freinds and me need this back as soon as possible. Do someone know: Can we all downgrade to the old version since the seperate friendlist is coming back?
Unfortunately, Blizz does not believe in freedom of choice. We are stuck with this ânew and improvedâ launcher until such time as our corporate overlords consent to return crumbs to us peons.
That said, every time I open the launcher, I put in a Feedback Ticket and a Bug Ticket to get the Friends Window back.

Just imagine how many people write feedback and it all gets ignored.
Literally the first and only real issue I noticed after being forced to update to the new launcherâŚonly to find out this was pointed out more than a year ago and Blizzard has done nothing about it??

Yes, it looks like blizzard donât use their own BNet client. if so they never release the trash like this

It appears that the plight of those who wish the return of that which was taken has gone unresolved. The wishes of those who wanted to hide the faces of their friends, to no longer be reminded of what their friends are doing while they bask in the advertisements and propaganda have been heard, but those who simply want to have a small portion of their view dedicated to their friends are still left ignored. Why must I have the face of a man asking âDo you not have phones?â staring at me when I want to check on what my friends are doing? Is it to remind me that the company that used to create the best of games, is so far removed from those they used to listen to that they donât know what they want? Has the company that I knew in my youth become Ahab? Hunting whales to the point of their own death? For they have become a hallow shell of what they once were, and it saddens me. They used to care. They used to listen. I hope that the day will come that they can return to the way they were. A beacon of excellence, not a pit of sorrow and sales.
