Request for Vulkan API Support in Warcraft 3: Reforged

Dear Blizzard Support Team,

I am reaching out with a request to add Vulkan API support to Warcraft 3: Reforged. I believe this would significantly improve the gaming experience for many players. Below are the key reasons why this would be beneficial:

Improved Performance: Vulkan API allows for more efficient use of resources on modern CPUs and GPUs. Since Warcraft 3: Reforged still has certain system requirements, Vulkan support would help reduce CPU load, especially on multi-core systems, resulting in better performance and smoother gameplay.

Support for Modern Technologies: Vulkan is actively supported by major GPU manufacturers (NVIDIA, AMD, Intel) and provides access to the latest optimization techniques and visual effects improvements. This would enhance the game’s graphics and performance without needing to overhaul its architecture.

Better Cross-Platform Compatibility: Vulkan is a cross-platform API, which would enable Warcraft 3: Reforged to run more consistently across various operating systems, including Linux, and potentially mobile devices in the future, broadening the game’s audience.

Support for Next-Generation Hardware: Vulkan is designed to make the most out of modern GPUs, which would help keep the game optimized and relevant for current and future hardware generations.

Community Feedback: Many players have already expressed a desire to see Vulkan support in Blizzard games, and this could be a big step forward in adopting modern APIs across their titles.

I hope you will consider this request and find the possibility of implementing Vulkan API support in future updates. This would not only improve the quality of the game but also ensure its longevity on modern platforms.

Thank you for your attention to this matter!

Best regards, Pavlo Kozlenko
