I paid for a realm transfer within regions… toon disappeared, 48 hours passed, contacted support they said “clear the cache”, did that no toon, responded it didn’t work, two days pass no response. I suggested they check the inactive account as in the past this toon has transferred across accounts not realms as for some reason that was the only available transfer option to it. Sure enough there it was…
I asked them to put it back on the active account, that blizzard support article says transfer to inactive account is not possible. They said “we don’t do free transfers”
I said it wasn’t supposed to have happened? They said “sorry no free transfers”.
I reactivate that account, pay another sub, and sure enough the character is there, and it’s locked. Cannot transfer it as there’s no TWW expac on that account.
So I contact them and tell them, AGAIN how did this happen you put a level 80 on an inactive account without that expansion? No response
It’s beyond a joke at this point. Customer service is truly appalling. This should have been able to be simply resolved, at the cost of the initial transfer as it was a technical issue.
