Manifesto time, so to speak.
08/22/2025 there was a technical opportunity to pre-order the latest addition in the Russian Federation and the Republic of Belarus, and I, among many, unpacked my Google Pay to taste and continue the good traditions. But in the end, they took it away from me.
Referring to sanctions… The payment was made through a foreign bank card through Google Pay. With money that is stored in a foreign bank. (Foreign from the point of view of a CIS resident)
We (I think, not only) have a phrase:
The well-fed do not understand the hungry. In our country, there is a totalitarian regime, even a solitary picket is illegal. A girl was sentenced to 7 years in a maximum security prison for anti-war slogans on price tags, this is just one of the striking examples.
You can fight for your rights, but we cannot. We are intimidated, disoriented and most of us make ends meet.
Regarding my personal attitude… I had distant relatives living in Ukraine and I can’t contact them or help them in any way. Because if I help them, do you know what will happen? I’ll go to jail and my family will suffer, including my retired parents. And the pension is only enough to buy food for a week, if you’re lucky, for two. Should I sacrifice myself, my parents?
There are people from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan in our raid team. But this small corner of normality is evaporating.
The people who support this mostly don’t care. They would rather sit in front of the TV and listen to fortune-telling programs.
One of their own among strangers, a stranger among their own.
