The press to talk beep indicator is not working even though it is checked in settings. It was working until this last battle.net update.

I am also getting the same issue as well as my friend. Support ticket replied with:

Sounds like you were having some issues with the push to talk sound not playing in the Battle.net app.

I haven’t seen any other reports of this sound not playing anymore, although it is possible that there’s a new bug. There is a few thing that I would recommend checking first though.

1. In the Battle.net app Settings go to the Sounds & Notifications section, scroll down to the Voice Chat section and make sure there’s a check mark on the option for Push to talk “Play a sound”.

2. If it’s still not happening, try switching to the Beta version of the Battle.net app. Click on the Beta secton in the Settings menu and go through the prompts to switch, then try reconnecting to voice chat with a friend and test it out again.

Trying the beta option made no change.
