Been playing OW since 2016, dropped about 200 over the years on this game.
Today I went to boot it up to play a few before it was over and it required me to verify via SMS, then wouldn’t accept my monthly contract phone number (“please use post-paid phone number”).
From what I can gather, Blizz just won’t accept Cricket or some other low-cost carriers and CS probably can’t override it.
Kinda sucks to be locked out of a game I paid for, was really looking forward to a few rounds to close out 6 yrs of memories.
