Just played 10 games and 4/10 of them had leavers and trolls, thus ended up losing priority passes and about over half an hour of my time. They need to come up with something when ow2 releases, us people having to deal with this get nothing in return but the people on the other side of the team even if we had the lead at first. ow in a nutshell…
I have been banging this drum for years now. Casual.modes have backfill so while leavers there can disrupt games, it’s nowhere near as bad as competitive leavers. I think the policy is WAY to lenient. The leaver compensation is a good start but not nearly enough.
I propose something like the first time you leave a comp game, you’re banned from comp for 48 hours. Second offense you’re banned from comp for a week. Third offense, no come for the rest of the season. Let them play casual instead but don’t let leavers screw up our competitive experience.
Continued offenses over multiple seasons should, at some point, lead to a lifetime ban from competitive lobbies. The only fair abd reasonable alternative is adding backfill to comp.
