Overwatch 2 wont launch

Hello, Overwatch 2 wont launch for me. I click play and it goes to playing now but nothing happens. Here is all the troubleshooting I have done

  1. Updated graphics drivers
  2. Scan and repair / check for updates
  3. Added SMS
  4. uninstalled blizzard app and re installed
  5. Left it on playing now for 30 minutes to see if it was stuck loading
  6. restarted many times
    Next step is going to be uninstall and re install the game, but thought someone may know a fix before I move forward with that

For this you might want to try the OW forums, specifically Tech Support. There are others with your issue and, for most, it is related to security software. Not in all cases though.

after trying the various fixes suggested online. The easiest fix was to uninstall the game to remove any remnants of the original and then install it fresh as overwatch 2
