Not staying connectetd to battlenet app desktop

It looks like my launcher is connecting, staying stable for a few minutes (sometimes just long enough to log into the server), then disconnecting and immediately reconnecting. It’s happening on my wife’s PC too, and I’ve tried all basic local remideis (dns flush, changing dns servers, resetting my network hardware, clearing/deleting caches, uninstall/reinstalls, changing regions & changing back, etc) and nothing seems to work.

My husband and I are seeing the same thing.

Since it’s happening on both PCs and you’ve already ruled out the usual DNS, cache, reinstall, and router fixes, I’d be looking beyond the local installation at this point. That pattern—stable connection for a few minutes, then disconnecting and immediately reconnecting—can indicate an authentication/session or server-side connection issue rather than a basic internet problem.

I’d check the launcher’s server/status page first and, if possible, test one PC through a completely different connection such as a mobile hotspot. If the same disconnect/reconnect cycle happens there, that’s strong evidence against your home network. Game-support documentation commonly recommends this kind of network isolation test when normal troubleshooting has already failed.

Since both PCs are affected, I’d also include that detail when reporting it to the launcher/game support team, along with the exact time the disconnect occurs and any launcher logs. That information could help them determine whether the session is being dropped by their authentication service.

Hopefully it’s a backend issue rather than something else you need to reset for the tenth time. When you need a quick change of pace while waiting for a fix, pbs kids games fits nicely as a casual browser option.

It is no longer possible to get support from Blizzard on connection issues or crashes.

Perhaps you should be spending your time there… instead of spamming this forum.

I checked connections to blizzard com port 443, and us actual battle net ports 443 & 1119. Port 443 to battle.net was the only test that turned false

Also ran ping sweeps to my router, 1.1.1.1, 8.8.8.8, and us actual battle net during the disconnects/reconnects. Didn’t drop a packet or see a lag spike at all. So its the handshake on their end. Even whitelisted em on my firewall. Nothing. Same results.

i had to start off line and uninstall mw4 beta to get mine to work

lol worked for 5 min. got put in que for bo7 and it went off line and wont connect again

Usually overzealous security software causes the disconnects. Blizzard doesn’t have any mechanism to randomly disconnect you while logged into Bnet.

I am not running security software and still having this issue. I have called my internet company and everything. They did a complete update and reset and still did not work on battlenet. I have run out of ideas at this point.

I have completely disabled my security software and it is still ongoing

I have attempted several times to log into the Battle Net so I can play D4. I am also having the same issue. These are the issues I’ve come across this morning:

  1. Couldn’t log in at all
    1. Conducted all of the tech steps per Blizzard and verified with my internet company there are no issues with my network and my security is fine.
  2. Was able to get logged in after waiting a few minutes.
    1. Then as soon as I loaded the game I couldn’t make it into D4, realized by Battle Net was now offline again.
  3. Logged in then immediately got shoved into offline mode where it just keeps loading.
  4. Now I can’t log in at all and I receive the following error code:
    1. Could not log in to Battle.net.
      1. Some games and features will be unavailable if you continue offline.
      2. More help: BLZBNTBGS80000011 (2)
        1. This then takes me to a link that says this is a common problem and is usually caused by maintenance. I don’t have social media but from what I could see all maintenance conducted was done yesterday (Sept. 1, 2026) for WoW.

Most security software suits continue to affect the computer in disabled mode.
