Any suggestions on how to use the authenticator without having a cell. They say you nave to have a cell number, don’t want to spend the money for a phone i would never use (hate phones with a passion). Anyone know if one of those free messaging apps would work, think it stupid to have to get one just for this.
I don’t have a cell phone and I don’t plan to get one.
I thought about purchasing a physical key fob authenticator from an online site, but I don’t want to do that since Blizzard has stopped selling them, and that suggests they will stop supporting them. Also from the posts here it seems that people have a lot of trouble with their key fobs.
The authentication methods that would work for me, would be a desktop authenticator (as long as it could run on the same desktop as WoW), email verification authentication, or receive a call on my landline with a verification code.
