What is being done by Blizzard to fix the problems with Bnet and D2/LOD before the big stampede to the new ladder?

If bots are the issue:
My thought is that as it is a new ladder season, the first day, possibly the first two to three days, will be queue-free. Once the predatory shops and the fake gold forum bot runners have geared their accounts, then the queues may return. People with their parent’s credit cards will be shopping again and these sellers could be using these funds to engage in heinous criminal activities. It’s sad.
I am looking forward to the ladder reset, yet I am not looking forward to observing those who exploit new and seasoned gamers.
Everything that has a beginning has an end I see the end coming for Diablo 2 just like what happened to Diablo 1
