New account not able to get Email Verification

I made a new account yesterday and got everything set up. But when I try to get the verification email sent to me, it does not send. Its been about 14 hours now since I made the new account and nothing. Weird thing is, I created a support ticket to report the issue and hopefully get this resolved, and received the confirmation of the support ticket to my email address within minutes. Also, after updating my phone number on the new account, I received an email notifying me of that change within minutes as well. Anyone else having this problem? Blizzard can you help?
