Nerf necro but not TEMPEST?

As a dedicated player, I feel compelled to speak up about the recent nerf to the Necromancer class. The decision appears both unnecessary and poorly justified, especially considering how minimally effective the fear mechanic is against several classes. Tempests and Wizards can dash out of it with ease, Barbarians have strong anti-CC capabilities, and even fellow Necromancers are only affected for a fraction of a second.

Meanwhile, Tempests continue to wield the Coral Shank with such imbalance that even a 4K-rated Tempest can one-shot a 10K opponent. This kind of disparity raises serious concerns about whether proper testing or balancing is actually occurring before patches are released.

It often feels as though Blizzard does not engage with its own game on the same level as its player base. That disconnect may help explain why the community is shrinking — players are disheartened by a game that seems to be systematically eroded with each update. Furthermore, you stated there will be no more nerfs, and yet we see untested overpowered essences, and nerfs with every patch.

We love this game. We want it to thrive. But that won’t happen unless the development team starts listening more closely to the community, applying greater care in balance decisions, and showing a deeper understanding of how the game plays at all levels.

Please, do better. We’re asking because we care.
