Need Help from actual COMPENTENT blizz employees

This is taken from a prior thread:
Why would you have a TOS that prohibits certain words and phrases but yet you allow people to type them and consequently ban them for it? Wouldnt it make sense to just ban the words from the beginning since theyre against your TOS??? Seems like it makes way more sense even from a monetary standpoint, instead of the user spending their time and money on potentially something else for the banned time amount they could have been playing your game instead.

and then I received a response from a blizz customer rep who answered the Q with an answer that has nothing to do with the topic:

Skelgarer writes : "Hey there,

The mature language filter is intended to prevent those who choose to keep the filter active from seeing potentially vulgar language entirely, and it is not intended to permit the use of vulgar or offensive language. Further detail on our expectation(s) regarding communication within our games/services can be found within our Code of Conduct"

Can someone from Blizzard actually answer the question instead of giving a politically correct response that is completely irrelevant? How about not closing the thread after said response to give people a chance to respond??

Recreating locked threads is against the forum Code of Conduct. You got as much of an answer as you are going to get from Blizzard. Insulting staff is not going to change it.

Why have laws that prohibit things but you LET people do them and then take them to jail for it!? Do you see how silly that is? People have free will to follow the rules or not. That choice determines the consequences they deal with.

You seem to want them to predict what sort of language folks will use, come up with an definitive list, and then block it all. You seem to think players can’t read the rules themselves and follow them.

The answer you got explains that even when Blizz blocks something, it does not mean you won’t get penalized for using it. Just like if someone shoots at a person with a bullet proof vest - that vest does not make the shooting part ok. So your idea that the mature language filter should mean nobody gets punished is not going to happen.

It was up for days and you bumped it with your other account. You asked for a Blizzard reply and got one. One that explained they already have a filter and it does not excuse use of the language or avoid penalties.
