I was having trouble with the authenticator months ago, so I detached the authenticator. However, now I can not reattach it because there are no serial numbers or restore codes in the app. It just says “Hmm… Something went wrong.” I have uninstalled, done a power reset and reinstalled, cleared out data and everything else they have suggested, but no matter what I do there are no serial numbers or restore codes for me to even begin the reattachment process. Blizz says it wants people to secure their account but if you can’t even get the process started how can you?
Im having this exact issue right now. Ive contacted them and they told me to report it as a bug but you have it here with no replies…

I am having a similar issue, received two recovery codes. None allow me to re-associate the account on battlenet.

I’m having same issue, went to upgrade phone, so turned off authenticator took photo of serial and restore codes went to turn on authenticator and error, uninstalled it, powered off reinstalled it, nothing. You come on here for help and it’s useless, and our phones don’t even receive texts to to the authentication via sms
