So I love doing the in-game events. Right now, I am using the summer event to get some fast and easy experience for several baby toons (Horde and Alliance).
My one complaint is that people have been parking and going afak on large mounts where you do the Torch Tossing quest. The Horde area is kind of a pain because of the large dragon scale trophy anyway. The Alliance area is smaller but seems to get filled with mounts far more often. The mounts make it hard to follow the torch shadow when they disappear beneath a mount and blend with its shadow.
I know this issue won’t get addressed right now, but perhaps next year the torch tossing area can be made a mount-free zone, like the Trading Post area.
It shouldn’t take multiple attempts to do the quest. And when I say multiple, I mean five or six attempts, because the torches keep getting obscured beneath mounts in the quest area.
