For the past couple months, I’ve had this issue that my pc would randomly reboot. Screen black, fans keep spinning, boots into windows fine then after a minute screen freezes. This only happens when playing Overwatch 2, since I’ve played many different games in that period I can assure that it only happens with Overwatch 2. There’s a list of things I’ve tried yet still no fix. The specs of my PC are;
- AMD Radeon 7800XT
- AMD Ryzen 7 5800x3D
- 48GB DDR4 (All Corsair)
- MSI-B550-A-Pro Motherboard
- Gigabyte GP-P750GM 750W (not in recall range)
Things I’ve tried in the past couple months:

Replaced PSU 550W → 750W

Reseated the 24-PIN Connected on MB

Reapplied thermal paste

Checked MB LED’s (nothing abnormal)

Disabled XMP (2333Mhz, 2666Mhz, 3200Mhz and 3600Mhz [DDR4])

Rolled back BIOS

Checked RAM slots

Rolled back AMD GPU Driver

Clean GPU Driver reinstall vai DDU

Ran MemTest86
-
Ran Windows Memory Diagnostics

Clean reinstall Overwatch 2

Switched DX version (DX11 → DX12)

Clean Windows Install
All of these things did NOT help my case, even after all those tries, it still crashed on the random. Here’s some extra information;
- Pattern is random - I can play 11 hours with no issue, then crash within an hour.
- Crashed started around March 2026.
- On Crash: USB Devices die, fans go 100%, system reboots itself.
- No BSOD - Bugcheckcode always 0
- No Overheating issue, temps don’t go over 70C - both CPU and GPU don’t.
I’ve tried everything that I know and I’m quite at a loss here. Hopefull someone can help me with this issue.
