Is there a way to remove the social part from the main launcher?

I see that there’s an option to have the social popout menu, but I’d like an option to remove the social menu from the main screen. I much prefer how other launchers, like Steam, Origin, and current Blizzard launcher do it where the main window is 100% for the game and news with an optional popout for social menu.
