Recently new apps allow the counting of real population within the game and servers. it is quite dismal. When you visit a capital city as a player you can see something is amiss but everyone seems to ignore the population problem. That does not work for a MMO The game continues to create more servers like the game subscribers were increasing instead of consolidating servers. The saddest thing is they fired off staff who know the game and can see the problems only to have kept people who dabble in making new games. Not listening to the customer has consequences. As long as Activision makes a dime off of Blizzard they will continue to milk Warcraft to its death. My last away from the game was nine months, I expect this one to be much longer and permanent. Also death knights for all races is hardly a reward to stick around for.
