hello dear,
I received an email regarding the change in transaction currency with disappointment. As someone who has been playing this game for over 10 years and regularly buying items, this hurts me deeply and seriously damages my connection with this game. that will mean battle.net don’t care about us Turkish players or other foreign at all. This is an insult to us and our freedom.
the mail that i received:
Your transaction currency will change from Turkish Lira to Euro no sooner than 60 days from the date of this notification. If you have any Battle.net® Balance in Turkish Lira on your account, it’ll be converted to an equivalent amount of Euro when the currency change occurs. The exchange rate to be used will be from tcmb.gov.tr and will use the spot FX rate from the day before the change to the new currency. You’ll then be able to shop Battle.net in your new transaction currency, with prices adjusted accordingly across all of our products and services.
