Navigating circular menus is unbearable, I can log into the game fine because of my settings and have plenty of game time to figure this out. BUT my authenticator needs to be removed and replaced because i no longer have access to the old SMS. (new phone and number). Is restore account my only option? Will i be unable to log in if I begin this process? Will a GM open a ticket for me or begin the process for me? The automated menus are absolutely atrocious for solving issues such as this. please refer me to a different forum if this is not the channel.
You are going to need to put in a ticket to have the Authenticator and old phone number removed. It is going to take some back and forth. They will send you an email (or ticket) asking to try to answer some questions to verify you are the account holder. DO NOT REPLY to the email. Open the ticket again, or open a new one, cite the first ticket number, then put in the info they asked for.

That serves as an Information Desk to help folks navigate the Support system, explain policies, explain services, etc. They are not GMs but there are lots of knowledgeable folks around and Blizz blues to help guide you. Just expect this will take a few days with ticket times.

WHEN I GO TO LOG IN AND PUT IN MY PASSWORD IT TELLS ME THAT I NEED MY AUTHENTICATOR TO AUTHENTICATE MY AUTHENTICATOR. ** THIS IS EXTREMELY FRUSTRATING. ** A COUPLE OF MONTHS AGO MY ACCOUNT WAS UNLOCKED MY SOMEONE AT BLIZZARD AND THEY MADE IT SO I DON’T HAVE TO USE MY AUTHERNTICATOR FOR A FEW MONTHS TO LOG IN. I HAVE BEEN PLAYING THIS WAY SINCE MY ACCOUNT WAS FREE OF THE AUTHENTICATOR AND NOW IT IS SAYING MY PASSWORD IS INCORRECT AND I HAVE TO USE AN AUTHENTICATOR TO AUNTENTICATE MY AUTHENTICATOR. IT SOUNDS IDIOTIC AND THAT’S BECAUSE IT IS. PLEASE GIVE ME A REAL PERSON TO FIX MY PROBLEM OVER THE phone.
It keeps telling me that my authenticator code is invalid. Also when I try to log in on PC it says “we couldn’t verify your account with that information.” It doesn’t always give me the option to position the chair or the object in the degree that it wants to pass the security check.
100% feeling your frustration especially as Im spending time on this and the only response we have so far is to open a ticket , which is virtually impossible in this era of WoW customer service. I remember being able to write a prompt and open a ticket, gone are the days.
