I just banned for no reason in wow tbc classic

About a week ago, my friend got banned for lending me 1800 gold, and he asked me to submit a ticket to Blizzard. I did, but received a negative response. However, yesterday my account was also suspended for two weeks, allegedly for buying gold. I swear, I haven’t bought anything in this game with real money except game time; my character doesn’t have a single penny. AND THE EMAIL I RECEIVED SAYS MY MOUNTS AND ITEMS WERE ALSO TAKEN. I WORKED SO HARD FOR THESE THINGS. WHY WOULD I RISK MY ACCOUNT BY SUBMITTING A TICKET FOR A SELLER? Please, Blizzard, please…

There is no Blizzard staff here… and this site is not related to WoW.

To appeal the ban, you and your friend should refer to : Appeal Suspension or Ban in World of Warcraft

I don’t work for Blizzard, but just lending someone gold is not against the rules. Your friend did not get banned for that.

Real Money Trading (RMT) is not just directly buying gold. It is being the recipient of illicit gold as well. Blizzard tracks the illicit gold through the trades and sanctions all involved. Usually just receiving it without being in direct contact with a gold buyer/seller is a suspension, but that is up to Blizzard depending on the circumstances.

My guess is your friend was banned for RMT as well. That gold they gave you was dirty gold from illicit sources. Maybe not directly, but he got it somewhere and then passed it on to you.

Your only option is to appeal via ticket as Boubou said.
