I am interested in Warcraft 3, is Reforged viable

Greetings

This forum may not be the most accurate place for this post, but I do not have access to a better one, so please bare with me for a sec.

I am interested in the original Warcraft 3: Reign of Chaos. On release Reforged was generally disappointing. Most of that was due to balooned expectation, but there were a lot of valid points.

I am interested if Reforged would work for me in 2025. This is what I am looking for

  • skirmish of Reign of Chaos, not Frozen Throne
  • a game that is technically stable for single-player, not MP
  • visuals that are representative of the atmosphere of the original, regardless of how high fidelity they are. I do not care how many poligons models have, I am interested if they carry the armosphere
